The League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS ) is the first and only organization that provides a representative forum for all Romanian students and graduates of foreign universities, promoting a strong solidarity among its members, as valuable representatives of Romania, and a positive attitude regarding the prospects of their return to Romania in the long run. The main goal of LSRS is to defend and promote the academic, professional, social, and cultural interests of its members and to facilitate their contribution to Romania’s future development.
LSRS provides romanian students and graduates from abroad, through its central structure and network of 22 branches:
- Representation through LSRS embassies around the world. Some LSRS Embassies collaborate directly with Romanian Embassies abroad
- Networking, through the Forum of Romanian Students Abroad
- Information about study abroad through a project LSRS wiki.lsrs.ro which is supported by teams from various countries LSRS
- Study abroad advice and free legal advice
- Support for returning to the country by implementing projects intended to create a climate conducive to return home and contribute to Romania’s development
